Coke beans or breeze is commonly used to fuel a blacksmith or farrier’s forge as it produces very high heat levels, burns cleanly and produces little soot, making it ideal for shaping metal. Our coke beans are suitably sized to give optimal performance on a blacksmith’s forge.

Coke is a high carbon fuel usually made from coal and is manufactured through the destructive distillation of low sulfur, low ash bituminous coal. Coke has been used in industry for hundreds of years and due to it’s high heat producing qualities made it possible to fashion products from metals such as iron on a forge which helped to lead the way for the industrial revolution.

Coke beans, a fine-grained fuel source, offer a remarkable capacity to generate a fiercely intense heat, making them exceptionally well-suited for applications within the Farriers & Blacksmiths industry, where the forging of metal relies on precisely controlled temperatures and efficient energy transfer.

There are two local coal delivery options these are:

Open sack coal delivery (local areas only, see postcode list above), your solid fuel will be delivered to home and unloaded to your chosen fuel storage facility
Pre-packed (plastic sack) coal delivery available to all UK (min order and delivery charges may apply). Suitable for home storage and can be stored outside unsheltered. NB: Delivered kerb side only not to storage facility. Pre-packed orders can be placed with open sack orders, within areas specified above.
Local coal and wood deliveries have a minimum Order Quantity 150kg of any combination of fuel.

National Solid Fuel Deliveries
National deliveries are palletised kerbside deliveries with a minimum order of 250kg.
